We assist our clients in all areas of criminal law and throughout the entire criminal proceedings, from the initiation of criminal proceedings to representation in court. We take on defense mandates as well as representing injured parties and victims. In particular, we are also familiar with white-collar and workplace crimes as well as with offences in road traffic and with the possibilities of preserving evidence and obtaining protective measures such as asset seizures.
We advise individuals and companies in all matters relating to intellectual property and IT, in particular in trademark and copyright matters, trademark and domain name registrations, licensing matters, outsourcing and IT projects, and legal matters relating to the use of the Internet, e-commerce and data protection. This includes advising private individuals and companies on copyright issues in the fields of music and art. Furthermore, we support our clients in matters of unfair competition and advertising law, represent them in proceedings before courts and authorities, and advise them on distribution and franchising agreements. We also offer telecommunications companies advice on regulatory issues.
We advise individuals and companies on the formation, organization and management of companies and corporations, on M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions and on the exercise of shareholders' rights. Furthermore, we assist them in drafting shareholders' agreements, organizational regulations, employee participation agreements, contracts and general terms and conditions, corporate governance and e-commerce issues as well as contract negotiations. We also advise and support private individuals and companies in contractual matters in the field of music law (label contracts, concert contracts, band contracts, etc.).
We support our clients in all matters of matrimonial and family law, in particular in the structuring of property relations and the conclusion of marriage contracts, in marital separations and divorces, in property disputes and in the regulation of maintenance obligations, as well as in the regulation of cohabitation and of rights and obligations between parents and children. In doing so, we are not only active in an advisory capacity, but also represent them in court proceedings or vis-à-vis the authorities. We also regularly assist in amicable divorces and the joint drafting of agreements between spouses or cohabiting partners or between parents and children.
We advise our clients in all commercial and private disputes and, if necessary, represent their interests with determination, skill and vigor before all state courts in Switzerland and before arbitral tribunals and authorities. This also applies to proceedings for interim relief, attachment and seizure of assets as well as to the enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards. In addition, we provide expert opinions on civil procedure law and on criminal and administrative procedure law issues.
REBER operates a Spanish Desk with 4 partners, all of whom are fluent in Spanish and have a cultural background in Spain or Latin America. This allows us to provide targeted and efficient advice in the native language of the client or the opposing party, taking into account the cultural differences between Switzerland and Spanish speaking countries.
In our function, we advise and accompany our Swiss clients in cross-border matters, namely in investments or in legal proceedings abroad. We have an excellent network to law firms in Spanish speaking countries, which we have built up over decades.
Furthermore, we assist Spanish-speaking clients in relocating to Switzerland, in investments and acquisitions in Switzerland and in court and arbitration proceedings with a Swiss connection.
